Who we are
Stardem Construction & Development is a Texas-based residential and commercial construction studio operating in Greater Houston. The "studio," "we," "us," and "our" in this notice all refer to Stardem.
What we collect
We collect three categories of information:
- Information you give us when you fill out the contact form, send us an email, or apply for a role — your name, email address, organization, project details, and any attachments you send.
- Limited site analytics — pages viewed, country, browser type, and approximate session duration. We use a privacy-respecting analytics provider that does not set third-party cookies or build user-level profiles.
- Information we generate in the course of working with you on a project — meeting notes, drawings, contracts, and the like. This is covered by the project agreement, not just this notice.
What we do with it
We use the information you provide to respond to your inquiry, run a project if you become a client, and comply with our legal obligations (insurance, tax, lien rights). We do not sell or rent personal information, we do not share it with advertisers, and we do not use it to train external models.
Email and the contact form
Submissions to the contact form are emailed to a small group inside the studio. We retain submissions for up to 24 months unless they become part of an active project file, in which case standard project retention applies.
If we don't hear back from you within 24 months and the project doesn't move forward, we delete the submission.
Cookies
The site uses one essential first-party cookie that remembers whether you've dismissed the navigation drawer on mobile. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Sharing
We share information only with:
- Service providers who help us operate the studio (email, hosting, accounting), under contract;
- Project partners (architects, engineers, lenders) when needed for the work, and only with your knowledge;
- Authorities, when we are legally required to share information (e.g., subpoena, audit).
Your choices
You can ask us, at any time, to confirm what we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or send you a copy. Texas residents have specific rights under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act (TDPSA), including the right to confirm, access, correct, delete, and obtain a portable copy of personal data, as well as the right to opt out of certain uses. We honor verified requests within 45 days.

Security
We protect personal information with reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information. No system is perfectly secure, but we keep ours small and well-tended.
Children
The site isn't directed at children under 16. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes
We update this notice when our practices change. The effective date at the top of the page reflects the latest version. Material changes will be flagged at least 30 days before they take effect.
